Interior Styling

Interior Styling services are available exclusively to current clients and referrals, with hourly pricing based on project and scope.

  1. Our styling service is ideal for clients who do not require a complete overhaul but desire assistance completing a space. Joy in the Midst can help with layout in a new home, art placement, sourcing* furniture pieces, art, lighting, or rugs as well as in person styling of rooms including built-ins or cabinets.

  2. An in person consultation ($150) will provide us an overall sense of your style preferences, pieces you love and challenges in your spaces. We will discuss in detail your goals, budget, timeline and priorities and may also take measurements where applicable. This typically last approximately 1.5 hours depending on the number of spaces to discuss.

  3. Following the consultation we will provide a Project Proposal and Estimate.

  4. Once the client accepts the proposal, we will send a client agreement and any follow-up questions to begin the process.

  5. Depending on your project, you may be provided via email with:

    Vision boards
    Recommendations for paint colors or layout
    Sourcing recommendations for furniture, art, lighting and decor (to be purchased by the client)
    Contractors connections via email

  6. In person styling of spaces is available following installation of rugs, furniture and art.

  7. Payment is due on receipt of Paypal invoice.

*Please note that we do not have access to wholesale sellers and work to source items locally when possible (i.e. Curated Furnishings, UFab, Revival Consignment, Capel Rugs, Greenfront, etc.) or from retailers such as Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware or other brands preferred by the client.
