In this small galley kitchen, my clients wanted a better flow temporarily until they are able to do a major overhaul down the road. We minimized some of the items that were rarely used, created a better flow inside the cabinets using shelf risers, cleared the counters and created a pegboard system to open up the walkway through the space.

Lots of storage space does not necessarily mean "organized". Labeled bins to create homes for each items is key! We also sometimes have more storage than we need. Using vertical space is great, until it’s too much and just gives us permission to keep things more cluttered.
